Rhyd-Ddu LL54 6TL (Between Carnearfon and Beddgelert, looking up at Snowdon)
The 15 mile drive, via Beddgelert, to Rhyd-Ddu is stunning from the minute you leave Criccieth, with sea, river and mountain scenery. You can then drive home via Penygroes which is shorter but also scenic.
This is our favourite pub/restaurant – not only is the food excellent (not pub grub!) but the busy atmosphere is very casual and fun as it is full of walkers, climbers and campers. Recommend booking.
