Restaurants in the Criccieth area, recommended by our guests.  All are British food, some with a twist of Italian / French.

Most are open between approx 6pm and 9pm.  We would recommend booking in advance as all of these restaurants get booked very quickly, especially in season, on weekends or when the weather is good.

Just a couple of minutes walk.  Probably the most popular and usually need to book in advance.  Excellent freshly prepared and cooked food.  Good choice on menu, including fish & vegetarian.  Offer children’s menu.  A la Carte available or 3 courses for approx £17 which is excellent value.

 Once again, fresh ingredients and superb meals.  Set three courses available too for approx £18 – very good value.  Five minutes walk.

A newly refurbished restaurant just over the crossing and again, all freshly prepared food and very good reports.

Only five minutes walk again.  This restaurant overlooks the sea – very romantic.  Nice surroundings. Home cooked food.  Main courses approx £12.00 to £18.00.  The views are lovely and you can make a longer evening of it by having a drink in their private bar/lounge area before and after your meal.

A country house situated about a mile out of the centre of Criccieth.  Beautiful restaurant and gardens.  Home-made food.  Book in advance.

Offer more plain food (such as beef in ale pie) as well as meat or fish in sauces etc.  Offer Sunday lunch 2 or 3 course menu. Cater for children.   Five minutes walk.

Overlooking a very small and beautiful harbour – Just 6 miles from Criccieth.  New owners who are excellent hosts. Good menu all freshly prepared and very good reports.  When you have eaten, take a 20 minute walk to the left of the houses and check out the hidden coves – Very pretty and romantic!

First class, freshly cooked food.   Good atmosphere.   Very popular so often need to book.There are also a couple of pubs in the square to pop into afterwards.  Tremadog is approx 4 miles from Criccieth.
